JR60053 SR ML ENGINEER, SMART MFG & AI

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Build and maintain data/solution pipelines that feed machine learning models or analytics engine
• Work in a technical team through design, development, deployment, and application of applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics using machine learning, artificial intelligence and traditional analytics methods
• Design and optimize data structures in data management systems (Hadoop, Snowflake, and Cloud platforms) to enable AI/ML/Analytics solutions.
• Build custom software components and analytics applications, including APIs
• Create/Maintain CI/CD pipelines of solutions in cloud and on-premise environments
• Generate high-quality solution documentation for global network fan-out and ops transition purposes
• Support operational stability of the Smart solutions within the team as both secondary developer and L3 capac

Education Qualifications:

• Technical Degree required. Software Engineering or Computer Science background highly desired

Minimum Qualifications:

• Preferable experience in building and executing end-to-end ML systems automating training, testing and deploying Machine Learning models
• Strong scripting and programming skills in one of the following, Python or Java
• 5+ years experience developing Data Engineering, Machine Learning or A.I. solutions with either Python, AWS, AZURE, GCP, OpenShift
• 3+ years experience building scalable ETL pipelines and data management
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.)
• Familiarity with software architecture (data structures, data schemas, etc.)
• Outstanding analytical thinking, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and team oriented
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite

Preferred:

• Demonstrated ability to study and transform data science prototypes into production solutions
• Experience with pipeline orchestrator such as Composer or Kubeflow or Workflow
• 3+ years of experience with big data processing and/or developing applications and data sources
• 3+ years of strong working knowledge of databases (Oracle, MSSQL, Snowflake, or BigQuery)
• Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
• Knowledge of computer vision and/or signal processing including techniques for classification and feature extraction
