THE ROLE
This role leads executive communications for AMD’s AI Solutions, shaping the corporate narrative and driving thought leadership for a global leader in high-performance computing. Partnering with C-level executives and senior business leaders, this position influences external and internal audiences to amplify AMD’s brand, enhance employee engagement, and align communication strategies with key business goals. THE PERSON
An exceptional communicator and skilled writer with a talent for simplifying complex topics into compelling narratives. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, effectively balancing competing priorities, building strong relationships across diverse teams, and demonstrating strategic problem-solving. Experience collaborating with engineering leaders and expertise in both corporate and employee communications are critical for success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and execute executive communication strategies to support AMD’s thought leadership and employee engagement goals.
• Partner with senior leaders to craft concise, impactful messaging for internal and external audiences.
• Create high-quality content, including speeches, articles, and presentations, tailored to diverse platforms. Ensure consistency and alignment with AMD’s corporate messaging.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executives, providing strategic guidance on communication opportunities.
• Balance competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality and delivering under tight deadlines.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Proven success in strategic executive communications, with a strong portfolio of impactful internal and external content.
• Progressive experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or public relations.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with a strong understanding of complex, technical industries.
• Outstanding writing, organizational, and collaboration skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Expertise in the semiconductor or AI industry.
• Familiarity with AI-related communication trends is a plus.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
