JR52745 SR I4.0 Analyst, Smart MFG & AI – Supplier Engagement

As an Industry 4.0 (I4.0) Business Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solutions, integrated across functions of the business. You and the team will be looking to apply the industry-leading best methodologies in data science, automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron’s product development, business and administrative processes across the company.

In this role, you will work with an internal team of Data Scientists and Data Engineers and engaging external suppliers to the design, analysis, and implementation of data science solutions and smart manufacturing application. You will be exposed to the world of data science, AI and machine learning and have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of these skills. More importantly, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders within Micron to ensure positive impact and sustainable results from the Smart Manufacturing solution..

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Work with users to capture and analyze information related to the adoption of I4.0 projects, Machine Learning applications and IIOTs for Smart Manufacturing through supplier engagement.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers & Data Scientists to design, execute and deliver I4.0 projects that require the coordination and support of resources from global teams.
• Develop an understanding in the area of data science and machine learning and use these knowledges to execute the I4.0 projects to ensure positive results.
• Define and implement supplier engagement and development strategies to enhance smart manufacturing capabilities in the equipment
• Initiate supplier relationship including communication around intent and work closely with supplier’s team in solution delivery
• Communicate technical requirement to suppliers
• Lead supplier engagement projects and activities that will require the coordination, support, and management of resources from global teams
• Provide expert functional and process guidance on system capabilities
• Use metrics and performance data to understand opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or at least 5 years of work experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Expertise in any front-end process areas are welcome to applied i.e. Photo-lithography, Dry Etch, CVD, PVD, Deposition, Diffusion, CMP, Wet, Implant, Metro, RDA or PI.
• Superb interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to effectively lead and present to small and large groups. Work multi-functionally with peers and senior and mid-level management.
• Peer leadership and relationship management skills,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and ability to remain flexible to the changing business needs.
• Outstanding customer focus with ability to projectized and prioritize work you’re doing.
