Job Description

This role calls for a visionary leader with an unwavering commitment to user-centered design and passion for emerging tech and frontier thinking. This person must drive innovation with their immediate team and peers, influencing key stakeholders. You will lead initiatives to explore new AI technologies and their application in commerce. You will encourage experimentation and out-of-the-box thinking to solve complex design challenges. You will keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive forward-thinking UX strategies.

A passion for problem solving through design translates into flawless execution. You’ll leverage a deep understanding of design patterns to build trust and security within our financial products. You will cultivate a visually sophisticated brand experience that resonates with our target audience, all while influencing stakeholders to champion the design vision. You will lead a team that has passion for designing intuitive cross-platform experiences leveraging prototyping techniques, empathy, and research with a test & learn mindset. You will help us find, develop, and retain next gen talent.

You will report to the VP, Experience Design, Foundations and be a member of our Experience Design leadership team where we use our design and research skills to inspire and influence across the company. Job Responsibilities

• Lead global teams of designers, cultivate best practices in process and methodology and deliver against business and customer needs

• Lead AI design projects from creation to execution and be responsible tying back to customer value delivery and outcomes

• Partner with leadership, stakeholders, cross-functional teams to create AI-driven features and core AI capabilities

• Create user-friendly interfaces and experiences for AI-powered products and services.

• Communicate and present AI concepts and strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Keep updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance AI capabilities and performance.

• Test and validate AI designs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency in real-world applications.

• Hold team accountable to leverage and extend the use of design system, style guides, patterns and assets in the creation of UX deliverables

• Contribute to the wider UX & UX manager community, mentoring others, leveraging your strengths to help others grow

Requirements

• 15+ years’ experience and 4-5 years managing managers

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques.

• Exceptional leadership abilities with a passion for fostering a positive team environment.

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in the study of user experience, design, research or related fields

• Proven experience in leading, growing and inspiring highly talented and productive UX teams

• Complete UX skillset, to deliver excellence across products and platforms, mobile apps, financial services expertise an advantage

• Experience leading delivery, through feedback, design critique, presentation to program sponsors, planning and coordinating with partners where needed

• Familiarity and experience with standard design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Miro, Sketch, and Invision

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is
$144800 to $319000
