In your role as AI Verification and Validation Engineer will be crucial in developing an advanced analytics and intelligence software suite aimed at early disease prediction.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

• Software Suite Development: Develop a comprehensive software suite for data collection, storage, sharing, traditional and AI analytics hosting and execution, and visualization.
• Project Involvement: Engage from the design phase through implementation to ensure the verification strategy aligns with the software design.
• Hybrid Edge-Cloud Solution: Work on a solution that is light on-premises and heavy on cloud, using Amazon AWS.
• Agile Team Environment: Collaborate in a truly agile, cross-functional team with diverse expertise.
• Proactive Contribution: Bring your own ideas, challenge the status quo, and execute tasks independently.
• Clear Communication: Maintain transparent communication with leaders and team members.

Testing and Validation:

• Test Plan Design: Design and implement test plans and test cases for traditional and AI systems.
• Automated and Manual Testing: Create and execute automated testing to ensure software functionalities and perform manual testing if required.
• Defect Analysis: Analyze test results and report defects to the development team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers to resolve identified issues.
• Documentation: Maintain and update test documentation.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Quality Assurance: Strengthen the quality of products during development and when deployed into production, collaborating with medical experts to deliver high-quality healthcare services and products.

Technical Expertise:

• AWS and Microservices: Experience in Amazon AWS, microservices, and serverless environments.
• Tool Evaluation: Evaluate new tools, algorithms, and technologies through POCs.
• Best Practices: Practice strong software development/testing principles and best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, code reviews, code refactoring, and coding standards.
• Service-Oriented Platforms: Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across multiple projects.
• Regulatory Compliance: Document and test software and its components in compliance with the strictly regulated healthcare technology industry.
• Independent Work: Work independently to deliver testing and use case creation that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the selected technology.
• Effective Testing: Write effective tests according to best practices to verify crucial functional requirements and ensure tests remain valid when code is refactored.
• Quality Metrics: Define quality metrics, best practices, and coding patterns.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing and validation.
  • 2+ years of professional experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages like Python.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems and tools.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Work Authorization: Legal authorization to work in Hungary.
• Work Mode: Ability to work in a hybrid mode, from an office in Budapest or Szeged, and from home.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Agile Experience: Experience working in agile teams.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment, in a multi-disciplinary team, continuously testing and prototyping ideas.

• Healthcare Industry Experience: Previous experience in the healthcare industry.
• AWS Testing: Experience in testing on AWS environments.
• Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• STEM Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
• AI Integration: Experience with integrating AI components into software.
• Third-Party Integration: Experience with integrating 2nd or 3rd party components into software.
• Medical Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with medical standards, file formats, regulations, and best practices (e.g., DICOM, FHIR, 510(k)).
• Image Processing: Experience in image processing algorithms, such as filters, sampling, and compression.
