Speech and Language AI Specialist – Kurdish Full-time

The Speech and Language AI Specialist for Kurdish language will be responsible for Audio Transcription, Translation, MTPE, Writing/Rewriting, Proofreading/Editing, and Data Classification. This role focuses on training Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-To-Speech (TTS) models, improving machine translation performance, and enhancing customer service chatbot responses. Successful candidates will bring strong customer service and e-commerce experience, ensuring accurate and authentic translations and evaluations.

MAIN DUTIES

• Transcribe speech, singing, and other related audio into text for ASR training.
• Translate and perform MTPE to improve TTS and Machine Translation models.
• Write, rewrite, and proofread/edit content to ensure grammatical and semantic accuracy.
• Evaluate customer service chatbot queries and responses.
• Rewrite existing customer service dialogs and ticket summaries, ensuring adherence to SOPs.
• Categorize data into predefined classes for data classification.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in Kurdish from Turkey (ILR Level 5 or CEF C2).
• Strong knowledge of Kurdish culture.
• Must be located in Turkey.
• Minimum B2 level in English, capable of understanding and communicating effectively in written and spoken contexts.
• Creative writing and comprehension skills, with the ability to write and summarize semantically correct paragraphs without grammatical or punctuation errors.
• Strong customer service and e-commerce experience, familiar with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Web-savvy and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to conduct thorough research within allocated time.
• Reliable computer system and internet connection.
• Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement for client confidentiality.
