[Sony Research]Research Intern for Imaging and Sensing (Computer Vision) Full-time

General Information

Sony AI is looking for smart and talented interns with expertise in computer vision to join our Tokyo-based team. The internship requires a minimum of 3-months duration. During the internship, you will focus on computer vision, machine learning and/or computational imaging research to maximize Sony image sensors in one of Imaging&Sensing flagship projects. You are encouraged to design and implement these algorithms by applying your research, coding, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to publish research outcomes in top-tier conferences and journals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental and innovative research in computer vision related areas, including but not limited to self-learning, multi-modal learning and domain adaptation.
• Contribute to the development of libraries or tools to support both research and business objectives.
• Publish impactful research outcomes in top-tier conferences.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Currently has, or in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in computer science or related field.
• Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by first authored publications at top-tier conferences, e.g., NeurIPS/ ICLR/ICML, CVPR/ECCV/ICCV, etc.
