Solution Architect (AI) Full-time

Responsibilities

• Conduct architecture assessments and develop solution blueprints in partnership with delivery teams
• Promote adoption of enterprise standards and best practices
• Determine most appropriate solution approach based on knowledge of existing and future solution, product and vendor-offered capabilities and roadmaps
• Providing architecture guidance and thought leadership in helping craft and implement GenAI vision and roadmaps within the clients department
• Defining, documenting, and communicating of clients standards, best practices and solution architecture to key business and IT stakeholders to ensure understanding and compliance
• Review requirements for use cases in divisional Initiatives and do feasibility analysis, perform PoC development, create detailed Target architecture proposal, and support the implementation of the solution
• Taking ownership and accountability for architecture and solution efforts across various Divisional GenAI and automation initiatives including reviewing solution designs and participating in code reviews
• Design large or complex systems and undertake impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs
• Provide technical guidance and governance on solution development and integration
• Assess vendor solutions to ensure alignment to our architecture standards
• Collaborate regularly with numerous groups such as Enterprise Architecture, development teams, product groups, users, and customers
• Be part of agile teams and collectively work towards common goals
• Able to succeed in a dynamic, rapidly changing, highly matrixed business environment. Keep up to date with trends, product updates/changes, and be able to share with teams effectively

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on coding and software design experience building robust and scalable software using Python, SQL, REST, JavaScript, TypeScript / node.js + React framework
• Expert in building data intensive applications in a modern technology stack: Cloud services (AWS, Azure), data pipelines, SQL/No-SQL databases (graph databases is a plus)
• Proficient in designing, architecting, and maintaining applications
• Expert building and consuming web-based APIs
• Expert with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins and test-driven development leveraging a Version Control system
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
• Proficient with developing unit testing and different testing strategies such as performance testing
• Experience working in an Agile Methodology
• Familiar in fields related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science
• Knowledge of Generative AI solutions and applications
• Experience working with different hyperscalers such as AWS Cloud and Azure
• Experience with building, deploying, and managing docker images
• Experience with traditional AI techniques and usage
• Experience with generative AI, foundation models, and newer, related techniques (e.g. RAG, agents)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
