General Summary:

As an AI engineer, you will play a critical role at deploying various AI models on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset. The job focuses on converting and onboarding the open source models on to Qualcomm hardware using Qualcomm’s QNN SDK. Verifying the model output and fine tuning the prompts. Developing Android applications for Qualcomm’s Automotive GenAI stack.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years with Python and C/C++
• 2+ years with PyTorch, TensorFlow or other ML framework
• Proficient programming skills of C/C++.
• Large Language Model knowledge
• Model transformation skills by Python is strongly preferred
• Good knowledge on Linux/Android development environment and tools.
• Solid hands-on skills and experience on model performance optimization.
• Familiar with embedded software/computer hardware architecture.

Pay range:
$126,000.00 – $189,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
