Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with machine learning theory and algorithms.
• Experience in data science/analytics.
• Experience with processing or manipulation of image or video data.
• Experience with back-end development.
• Experience in writing testable and scalable C code.
• Passion for writing code.

Responsibilities

• Develop data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Build systems to fine-tune, evaluate, and visualize the performance of ML systems.
• Manage releasing face authentication model drops for in-market and unreleased Pixel devices.
• Expand the existing authentication infrastructure stack to support other devices and ML teams.
