The Guided Support Experience (GSE) team sits within gTech Users and Products Engineering, and is responsible for verticalizing the Guided Support Experience in the Google Help Center.The GSE is our generative conversational support solution across our consumer product portfolio such as Google Play, Pixel, and Google Workspace. The GSE team will work closely with our PM partners and other stakeholders in a cross-functional “pod” structure, each pod focusing on customizing GSE to the needs of our Product Verticals. This is a newly forming team, but will be composed of 10 engineers in total.
In this role, you will have experience with Generative AI, be comfortable with ambiguity, handle tough problems, and have experience building capabilities from scratch.
In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google’s diverse product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more).
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
