Key job responsibilities

-Leverage, develop, and implement cutting-edge algorithms and techniques to automate and optimize network operations.

-Design, test, and deploy scalable software systems that leverage Generative AI techniques to enhance network performance and reliability.

-Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a culture of excellence in software engineering practices.

– Proactively identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution to ensure smooth operation of Generative AI software solutions.

-Contribute to improving our documentation, processes, and tools so that we improve our performance as a team.

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS)

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain – and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience (non-internship) in professional software development

– Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

– Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

– Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
