Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer – Foundation Models Full-time

We are looking for a full-time Machine Learning Engineer – Foundation Models, with deep knowledge and strong enthusiasm towards building generative and foundation models.

Our mission is to solve the autonomous driving problem. You will work with a team of talented software engineers, machine learning engineers and research scientists to push the boundary of state-of-art machine learning models which will enable the next-generation E2E solution of autonomous driving.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, train, and deploy large deep learning models that can leverage the vast amount of labeled and unlabeled data from a fleet of million vehicles.

Minimum Skill Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience working with CNN and transformer architecture.
• Experience with Perception or Planning stack pertaining to autonomous driving.
• Excellent programming skills and knowledge of Python and Pytorch .
• Deep knowledge of PyTorch or JAXA.
• Able to take full-time employment.

Preferred Skill Requirements:

• Experience with LLMs/VLMs.
• Experience with cuda or Triton language for writing custom ops.
• Deep knowledge of Pytorch training framework and experience performing large scale parallel training of large Pytorch models.
• Experience with edge computing systems
• Programming skill in C++

The base salary range for this full-time position is $220,000-$370,000, in addition to bonus, equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
