A10 is the leader in infrastructure security and application delivery solutions. The largest service providers, hyperscalers and enterprises leverage A10 HW and SW solutions in the data path for production traffic.

The DDoS Protection and AI Innovation Product Manager is a critical role. The successful candidate will drive A10’s DDoS protection solution and ecosystem, including partnership. This tech savvy PM will help unlock use of AI into A10’s proxy and security stacks.

The candidate should be capable of maintaining a good understanding of in-house developed A10 technology, market trends, and customer/prospect needs. The person should be able to communicate effectively both internally and externally. Internally, the person will communicate requirements to the engineering teams by defining epics and user stories with clear prioritization. The PM will be responsible to create and maintain the product roadmap with 1-3 years outlook. Externally, the PM will communicate with sales teams and customers for articulating the benefits of the solution, providing high-level guidance on what is possible with the A10 solution, and taking in feedback and feature requests as needed.

Job Description

• Acquire/maintain subject matter expertise in the overall DDoS protection solution
• Become an expert in generative AI, machine learning, large language models and natural language processing (NLP)
• Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap
• Focus on driving next generation DDoS technology to stay ahead of emerging attacks
• Work with the solution architecture team and the field to further develop solutions for the enterprise space
• Engage with A10 sales teams and customers to help clarify use cases and capture requirements
• Provide product marketing with transfer of information and guidance on solution capabilities and potential use cases
• Analyze competitor offerings and provide justifiable assessments of strengths and weaknesses

• Participate in EBCs and present the A10 solution

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field with 10 years professional experience, especially as related to Artificial Intelligence
• 5+ years product management experience
• Good understanding of the full product life cycle from inception to phase out and transitioning to new products
• Demonstrated knowledge in DDoS protection, WAF, threat intelligence, or related enterprise cyber security areas
• Background on generative AI
• High-level understanding of enterprise security architecture
• Strong communication skills both in written and oral form
• Skilled in and comfortable with presentations for both internal as well as external audience

Bonus Qualifications

• Good high-level understanding of security operations’ workflows and tools
• Knowledge of DDoS defense architectures and DDoS countermeasures
• Prior experience managing product in marketplaces of major public cloud operators like Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS
• Prior experience managing software products, add-on services, licensing, and subscription-based offerings
• Prior experience in AI product development or management
