About the Team
The Responsible Recommendation System team is dedicated to safeguarding TikTok’s ecosystem and ensuring product success by addressing critical business challenges with innovative AI solutions. The team innovates in content understanding, recommendation systems and agentic AI techniques to improve TikTok content safety and ecosystem.

Responsibilities – What You’II Do
– Design, develop, and deploy an agentic AI system aimed at addressing key risk management challenges and driving innovative product directions.
– Translate complex business problems into robust, production-ready AI solutions using cutting-edge machine learning techniques.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights and practical applications into our product roadmap.
– Drive rigorous data-driven analyses to continuously optimize system performance and effectively mitigate risks.
– Conceptualize practical problems and leverage advanced LLM technologies to develop solutions that have a real-world impact.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred) with significant experience in machine learning and system design.
– Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, etc.) and a proven ability to design scalable, production-grade systems.
– Solid background in information retrieval, natural language processing, and data mining
– Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or LLM applications is a plus.
– Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering innovative machine learning solutions under tight deadlines.
– Excellent problem-solving and conceptualization skills with the aptitude to translate real-world challenges into cutting-edge AI solutions.
