The Senior Machine Learning Engineer Role

Driving the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions with a focus on advanced Machine Learning techniques, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and scalable Python-based backend systems. Join our mission to pioneer the combination of structured and unstructured data to unlock new use cases and hidden insights. Build out semantic search capability on our platform. Translate natural language to analytic queries and learn from user behaviour to improve future responses. Employ chain-of-thought agents and routers to extend AI’s ability to solve an ever-increasing set of complex challenges.

• Anticipate future customer needs with innovative AI solutions
• Provide thought leadership in AI/ML practices within the organization

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years in similar roles building production-quality AI/ML software
• Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Python, Golang, Java, C++, preferably Python
• Proficiency with Git and related tools for collaborative development
• 3+ years of experience with structured data using popular machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Langchain, Langgraph etc).
• Experience with basic NLP pipelines for data processing and cleaning (e.g. NLTK, spaCy)
• 3 + years of experience with popular foundational models like Llama, Falcon, OpenAI, Hugging Face, Mistral, etc.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud service providers and related infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Expertise in working with unstructured data sources: RAG, vector databases
• Proficiency with advanced AI/ML Techniques: Agents, Agent orchestration frameworks, knowledge graphs, factuality, grounding, prompt engineering, chain-of-thought, pre-training, fine-tuning, evaluation and benchmarking
• Tools for monitoring, reproducibility and versioning (MLFlow, Weights and Biases)
• Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of emerging trends and new techniques in the field of AI
• Experience building natural language applications or systems
