Senior Machine Learning Engineer Full-time

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to operationalize computer vision models for detecting, extracting, and classifying objects.

We are working on enhancing a client tool that identifies products on store shelves and provides additional metadata and features.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze existing data science models, fine-tune and parameterize them as needed
• Design, build, maintain, troubleshoot and optimize the full machine learning lifecycle, which includes the following
• – Machine learning model optimization
• – Data preparation
• – Feature extraction
• – Monitor model performance
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineering team to optimize machine learning pipeline performance
• Establish and configure continuous integration and software deployment processes
• Continuously improve the design and support of machine learning models
• Implement capabilities for early detection of various drifts (data, concept, schema, etc.)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Machine Learning or Data Engineer, specifically in designing, building, and deploying machine learning and data processing pipelines
• Good knowledge and experience in Python development
• Good understanding of the Python machine learning ecosystem (PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, pandas, sklearn, XGBoost, etc.)
• Good grasp of concepts and best practices for the efficient deployment and maintenance of machine learning models
• Experience with platforms/technologies for model deployment and management, such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI / AI Platform, Databricks MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Argo Workflow, TensorFlow Extended (TFX), etc
• Familiarity with essential software development tools, including Git, CI/CD environments (e.g., Jenkins, Buildkite), PyPI, Docker, Kubernetes, unit testing, and general object-oriented design
