ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designs, develops, and implements scalable Machine Learning systems
• Conducts data analysis and modeling using large and complex data sets
• Ensures accuracy and effectiveness of ML systems and algorithms through continuous training and retraining
• Enhances existing frameworks, workflows, and libraries to improve efficiency and performance
• Documents ML processes, standards, and best practices to maintain consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing
• Proposes new feature ideas, designs data pipelines to integrate them into existing models
• Collaborates with stakeholders, drives end-to-end projects involving various technologies and systems to successful completion

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, engineering, or computer science
• At least 2 years of experience in software and model development in a data or machine learning team in a production environment
• Strong track record of designing and training machine learning models to solve business challenges
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or AlibabaCloud
• Excellent software engineering skills across multiple languages, including Python, SQL, Scala
• Experience with machine learning software packages (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and their appropriate application
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes for machine learning deployment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay current with the latest developments in machine learning
