Digital Experience & Customer Empowerment Machine Learning Team (DXC-ML)@Autodesk
The DXC-ML Team is responsible delivering Machine Learning features that transform the customer experience for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions at Autodesk. We aim to help our customers, through conversation, personalization, and other intelligent features on our platform. Our team members work extensively with stakeholders across the company, with significant technology leadership and opportunity for impact. We work in a supportive and collaborative way, applying the latest technology and rigorous analysis to solve complex customer problems using ML.
Position Overview
Our focus is on optimizing e-commerce through advanced techniques in conversion, segmentation, and behavior targeting. This initiative aims to enhance customer experiences and drive better business outcomes. For instance, we are developing sophisticated models to personalize customer journeys, segmenting users based on behavior patterns, and implementing targeted marketing strategies. Other examples of our work include creating algorithms to predict customer purchasing behavior, designing dynamic content for personalized shopping experiences, and measuring the impact of these optimizations on overall sales and customer satisfaction.
Position Overview
As a Lead ML Engineer of ecommerce on the team, you will be responsible for leading the design, analysis, and delivery of data-driven solutions to significant business challenges across a program of work. Lead ML Engineers work to deliver ML-driven technical solutions to customer needs on our platform. You will play a crucial role in coordinating delivery as part of multi-disciplinary stakeholder teams.
Reporting to the Director of E-commerce ML, this role is hands-on, focusing on advanced technical skills with the latest in NLP and ML technology. Our team culture is built on collaboration, mutual support, and continuous learning. As a Lead MLE, you will provide technical guidance and expertise to the team and other stakeholders. We emphasize an agile, hands-on, and technical approach at all levels of the team.
As a group, we continuously strive to improve our Machine Learning practices and stay abreast of trends and techniques relevant to our areas. Our team is committed to excellence in both the theory and practice of Machine Learning, and we encourage personal development and knowledge sharing among all team members.

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $146,900 and $237,600. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
