(Senior / Lead) Applied AI Engineer – Client Consultant Full-time

The Team:

Our newly formed Applied AI team develops AI solutions to solve critical business challenges. We collaborate with Go-to-Market and Product & Engineering teams to drive customer success and support the development of cutting-edge AI capabilities. Our team operates globally and across all industries.

The Role:

As an Applied AI Engineer, you will work directly with customers to understand their problems and design innovative AI solutions using our Process Intelligence platform. You will also collaborate with Product & Engineering to standardize these solutions and bring them to our customer base at scale.

The work you’ll do:

• Pitch the Celonis AI value proposition and vision to customers and align our solutions with their AI strategy.
• Prototype and develop AI solutions tailored to customer needs, including both traditional machine learning and LLM-based solutions.
• Identify and package scalable use cases across the Celonis platform, driving innovation and expanding our offerings.
• Closely collaborate with Product & Engineering to inform future product development based on customer feedback.
• Train internal teams and help them position and deploy AI solutions.

The qualifications you need:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Proven experience developing AI solutions for enterprises, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful use cases solving real-world problems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

The base salary range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule.

Total compensation package will include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant’s qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.

The base salary range below is for the role in New York, based on a Full Time Schedule.

$108,000-$187,000 USD
