This is on site position open to any qualified applicant in the Houston, TX.
Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using GCP Services and Azure Open AI
• Oversee the integration of Azure Open AI GPT3 and Azure Open AI Service into existing systems
• Provide technical expertise in Python to develop and optimize machine learning models
• Utilize Google AI Platform to deploy and manage AI models at scale
• Capturing and recording usage and other info from API’s proxied by API Management Service
• Implement data analytics solutions using Google Analytics to drive business insights
• Run big data solutions on Google Cloud – Big Data to handle large-scale data processing
• Ensure the effective use of Google Cloud – Services to enhance system performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project timelines
• Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure system stability and performance
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a collaborative work environment
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support system maintenance and upgrades

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in an IT related role
• Strong Python skills required
• Experience interfacing with and leveraging LLM’s.
• Experience with at least one of the following: Azure Open AI models – public API or Google Gemini model variants – public API
• Exhibit proficiency in Python programming for developing and optimizing machine learning models
• Have hands-on experience with Google AI Platform for deploying and managing AI models
• Show capability in implementing data analytics solutions using Google Analytics
• Display knowledge of managing big data solutions on Google Cloud – Big Data
• General understanding of Generative AI models, concepts, capabilities, and usage patterns
• Experience with Langchain or other similar abstraction/orchestration library

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $81,000 – $150,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
