OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Qualcomm is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer for solving complex problems in fingerprint domain.
The challenge requires multiple disciplines fusion including machine learning, computer vision, signal processing and more..

Job Function/General Responsibilities

The responsibilities will include developing machine learning algorithms for classification of fingerprints. The position requires interaction with multiple teams, including software, algorithms, and tools teams.

Critical “Must Have” skills/experience for role

– Engineering with preference to EE, computer science, or mathematics
– At least 2 years of hands on experience in Machine Learning
– Full mastery in Python
– Proficiency deep learning frameworks like Pytorch/TensorFlow etc.
– Proficiency in Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn etc
– Knowledge in C coding
– Good communication skills to allow effective cooperation with a global development team.
– Proven innovation track record, in form of approved patents, publications, etc

Preferred skills/experience for role:

– Masters is an advantage
– Experience with one or more of the following fields will be an advantage: signal processing, image processing
