Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll shape AI-driven products and services, lead high-impact projects, explore new data science frontiers, and push the boundaries of AI technology

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sector teams and clients to understand their unique challenges and opportunities, translating these into actionable AI strategies and solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Lead the end-to-end enablement of AI-driven solutions and services, from initial concept through deployment.
• Collaborate with the teams in designing, programming, and deploying scalable machine learning models and data pipelines
• Take ownership of experimental design, exploratory data analysis, and hypothesis testing to validate AI models and ensure their effectiveness in real-world scenarios
• Identify and implement best practices in AI and data science, continuously improving the team’s ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions on time and within scope.
• Support new business opportunities, guiding the proposal, execution, and delivery of AI projects
• Act as the primary AI thought leader, playing a key role in shaping AI strategy and positioning the firm as a leader in AI-driven solutions

Experience and Background:

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning (ML), with a strong track record of delivering AI solutions that scale in real-world applications.
• Proficiency in designing, optimising, and applying machine learning algorithms at scale.
• Strong skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with experience in building and deploying AI models using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience in building and managing data pipelines at scale using relevant technologies.
• Expertise in data integration, API development, and delivering streaming services.
• Demonstrable ability to lead AI project lifecycles from concept to delivery, including client engagement, requirement gathering, model development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional experience and skills (advantangeous)

• Experience in shaping and influencing AI strategy at an Enterprise level.
• Relevant certifications in data science, machine learning or big data technologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) with an ability to architect AI solutions in a cloud environment.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools for managing the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data collection to model deployment and monitoring.
• Active participation in AI communities, conferences, or publications, contributing to the broader field of AI and data science.
