Description:

We are looking for a skilled AI / ML Engineer who has experience prototyping, validating, implementing and maintaining AI / ML solutions in real-world implementations serving customer requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and is familiar with the technologies that facilitate the various facets of the machine learning lifecycle such as Git, Python, Docker, SQL and MLFlow. They are comfortable translating complex requirements into actionable AI / ML models, building reusable AI / ML components and pioneering best practices to boost quality and productivity. They demonstrate a deep understanding of AI / ML and are comfortable working with large technology teams in high-value product areas.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with data, building, deploying and monitoring AI / ML models in production environments.
• Proficiency with Python and major Data and ML libraries such as Pandas / Polars, Scikit-learn, NumPy, TensorFlow, Langchain etc.
• Strong understanding of data preprocessing and feature engineering using tools like SQL, Python, Spark, etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model lifecycle management such as Git and MLFlow.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  Desirable:
• Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and quantitative models.
• Experience with generative AI technologies, specifically LLMs
• Experience with cloud AI platforms such as AWS Sagemaker, Google Cloud AI, or Azure Machine Learning.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities:

• AI Model Development, Optimization, Validation and Maintenance
• Design, prototype, validate and implement new models by performing data preprocessing, feature engineering, and hyperparameter tuning to maximize model performance and accuracy.
• Implement, enhance, optimize and maintain NLP and LLM models in production, ensuring smooth operation and scalability.
• Design APIs and interfaces for AI systems and implement logging and monitoring to track performance post-deployment.
• Keep up with the latest technology trends and techniques in the field of AI / ML and contribute to process improvements and innovation.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to generate AI-driven use cases that address real-world challenges.
• Share knowledge, participate in design reviews, and create comprehensive documentation for AI models and workflows.
• AI Solution Monitoring, Best Practices and Collaboration
• Evaluate and optimize AI solutions to meet key performance indicators, including accuracy, latency, and resource efficiency.
• Advise on performance and resource utilization issues related to AI / ML.
• Build frameworks for rigorous model testing, validation, and performance tuning to ensure robustness, accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data engineers, data analysts and product managers to deliver relevant solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and drive technical direction of AI / ML projects.
• Offer guidance on ethical AI practices, ensuring models are built with fairness, transparency, and privacy in mind.
• Regularly meet with the product team to integrate advanced AI / ML methodologies into our products and define current and future AI requirements.
• Clearly communicate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.
