We are looking for self-motivated AI engineers to join our International Business Group. With high standards, we comply with data security and privacy protection. Our AI team is leveraging privacy-preserving computation technologies such as federated learning in an increasing range of business scenarios. We aim to establish a shared, collaborative, and mutually beneficial ecosystem with regulatory bodies and institutions from various countries as we continue to unleash the value of data by AI.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and implement state-of-the-art techniques in the field of Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute projects that leverage LLMs for various applications, including but not limited to text generation, summarization, translation etc.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and generative models, and apply this knowledge to enhance existing models and methodologies.
• Analyze and fine-tune model performance through experimentation, iteration, and data-driven insights.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Contribute to research publications, whitepapers, and presentations to showcase the organization’s expertise in the field.
• Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI solutions into real-world applications and platforms.

Requirements

Job Requirement

• Master’s in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• PhD is nice to have.
• 5+ years experience in AI-relevant fields, such as machine learning, deep learning, large language models or computer vision.
• Strong understanding of generative models, deep learning, natural language processing or computer vision techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Familiar with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Demonstrated ability to drive research projects from ideation to implementation, producing tangible outcomes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to address complex AI challenges.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Published research papers or contributions to the AI community would be a significant plus.
• Experience with deploying AI models into production environments is desirable.
• Experience with testing and evaluation of AI systems, explainable AI, or AI fairness and bias assessment is nice to have.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin in order to communicate with our Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
