Our team, the Engineering Platform and Ecosystem, would like to bring our internal and external customers in focus of all our activities and enable our engineering teams by providing our “best in class” Ecosystem. We enhance, deploy, operate our modular and integrated development ecosystem continuously, to provide new features and technologies to our customers. We provide, govern and supply services for standardized Processes, Methods, Tools tailored to Autonomous Mobility specific needs.

Our dynamic team is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python, AWS, and databases. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our applications, ensuring they effectively support our delivery operations and enhance our overall service efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain internal applications to support delivery operations.
• Work with large sets of sensor data, ensuring efficient data processing and pipeline management.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing.
• Maintain and enhance our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and adhere to best practices in software development.
• Think in systems and explore opportunities to improve and streamline end-to-end processes by transforming abstract concepts into working solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree (BSc or higher) in a technical area: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related; or equivalent experience (3+ years) in software development
• Strong knowledge of Python
• Experience in AWS or other major cloud technology
• Advanced understanding of data management tools and database technologies
• Good command of English language
• Willingness to work independently and as part of an international team

Nice to have:

• Experience with agile development methods
