Senior AI and IT Solution Architect (Manager) Full-time

Lead digital transformation in Financial Services as a Senior AI & IT Solution Architect, designing innovative, scalable AI and IT solutions for banking, insurance, and asset management, integrating data engineering and promoting agility and collaboration.

Your contribution to KPMG

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, innovative technical solutions that align with business goals and technological standards.
• Design data pipelines and integrate data engineering solutions, ensuring they are adaptable and maintainable for long-term success.
• Build and deploy enterprise-scale solutions using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern programming languages (Python, Java).
• Lead the development of scalable data-driven applications and optimize them for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
• Implement automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of solutions.
• Provide leadership throughout the client engagement lifecycle, from gathering requirements to post-deployment support, ensuring solutions drive measurable business outcomes.
• Lead proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and feasibility studies to showcase the value of technology and innovation in addressing client challenges.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of technical professionals, including software engineers, data engineers, and developers.

This is what makes you successful

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 8-12 years in IT architecture, software development, or data engineering, with at least 5 years focused on hands-on leadership and consulting.
• Certifications: Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) or other relevant technical certifications.
• Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python and Java, a deep understanding of high-performance systems, data engineering, and software development, alongside experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code, APIs, microservices, DevOps and various data technologies like SQL, NoSQL and big data processing tools (Spark, Hadoop).
• Hands-on Leadership: Proven ability to lead by example, blending deep technical expertise with team leadership and mentorship.
• Collaboration & Teamwork: Strong ability to foster cross-functional collaboration, building strong partnerships across teams and ensuring seamless project delivery.
• Communication & Presentation: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Languages: Proficient in German and English
