SDET Gen AI – TX Full-time

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for utilizing Gen AI to analyze user stories and acceptance criteria, generating comprehensive test scripts, and verifying API outputs. Our ideal SDET is a technically proficient individual who can leverage Gen AI to improve our testing processes and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize Gen AI analyze to user stories and acceptance criteria, generating comprehensive test scripts that accurately represent the desired features and functionalities.
2. Leverage AI UI for verification, ensuring that our user interfaces meet the defined acceptance criteria and provide a seamless user experience.
3. Use Gen AI for API output verification, making sure that our APIs are returning the correct data and behaving as expected.
4. Create and gather test data through APIs, ensuring a diverse range of data is available for thorough and effective testing.
5. Design, develop, and manage automated testing frameworks and tools using Python, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
6. Actively participate in software design and code review sessions, providing valuable input based on your understanding of testing requirements.
7. Collaborate closely with the software development team to identify and mitigate defects, clarifying and identifying missing or ambiguous requirements early in the development lifecycle.
8. Regularly review and validate the accuracy of generated test scripts, using both manual review and testing automated tools.
9. Apply your in-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms ensure to effective and efficient test script generation and execution.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proficient in Python and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of structures data and algorithms.
3. Experience in using AI tools for test script generation, specifically Gen AI.
4. Extensive knowledge and experience in software testing methodologies, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
5. Demonstrated experience in UI and API testing.
6. Experience in generating and retrieving test data through APIs.
7. Strong coding skills and an understanding of software design principles.
8. Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a plus.
9. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Strong attention to detail and the ability identify to potential issues.
