A Day in the Life
Medtronic’s Surgical Operating Unit is a newly established, dynamic unit combining the expertise and product portfolios of Surgical Robotics and Surgical Innovations. Our Surgical Robotics Utilization Team plays a key role in supporting the successful installation, start-up, and integration of the Hugo™ Surgical Robot in hospitals. As an Associate Start-Up Specialist, you will work alongside experienced professionals to help ensure smooth adoption of this innovative technology by assisting with system setup, user training, and operational support.
This Associate role is designed for ambitious individuals looking to kick-start their careers in medical technology, healthcare operations, and surgical support. You will work closely with hospital teams, including surgeons, nurses, and administrators, to support the implementation of robotic-assisted surgery.
Our Odyssey training program offers a comprehensive learning experience, combining in-person training at our state-of-the-art training center with interactive online modules. This program covers everything from surgical robotics product training (hands-on with the robot, setup, and troubleshooting) to clinical education on anatomy and surgical specialties equipping you with the skills to excel in the field of robotic-assisted surgery.
