Job description

Infosys is seeking Product Technical lead- Data Science/AI/ML. Candidate will be innovative and creative in data analysis, problem solving and presentation of solutions. Candidate will collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production. Candidate will analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing. Candidate will design accurate and scalable AI solutions. Candidate will be responsible for use-case derivation and solution creation from structured/unstructured data Candidate will be responsible for Storytelling, Business & stakeholder communication and Documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• A strong understanding of data analytics best practices, standards, and guidelines; and an experience with applying the same to produce high visibility AI solutions / products
• Experience in building integrated solutions with NLP, Vision, Recommendation Engines, Forecast, Time-Series, Predictive Algorithms
• Programming Skills: Python, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, matplotlib
• Exploratory Data Analysis, Machine Learning and Deep Learning Algorithms
• Hypothesis definition, Model building, Hyperparameter tuning and Model performance metrics
• Statistics Knowledge (Probability Distributions, Hypothesis Testing)
• Platform exposure with one of the key AI Services Cloud providers with working knowledge of ML Services, AI Platforms, MLOps, AIOps
• Understanding of planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of the core components for AI/Cognitive solution)
• Experience with TDD practices / frameworks (JUnit (Java) / Jest (React) / Karma / Jasmine)
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Cloud Implementation – Azure, Kubernetes/Docker
• Experience in developing & deploying Microservices, Data Modelling, Database Design, Tuning Design Parameters, Normalization, Solving Performance bottlenecks
• Experience in Middleware, Open-Source tools & technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in Production support is good to have
• Experience with monitoring tools is good to have
• Good Communication and Analytical skills

  The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
