Key job responsibilities

As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will…
• tDrive product launches including working with feature/delivery teams across a large organization, GTM, and executives
• tManage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support load
• tProactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

A successful candidate will be detail oriented, analytical, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers. They will be adept at leveraging new and existing technologies to uniquely solve customer problems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of technical program management experience

– Experience in hands-on work managing complex technology projects

– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

– Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
