Principal Technical Product Lead – Data Analytics and AI Full-time

Join our Data Analytics and AI (DA&AI) team within Operations IT to drive innovation in a leading pharmaceutical company. As a Principal Product Lead you’ll help develop strategic data and AI products that align with business goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered solutions, such as AI-Powered Drug Development, Generative AI, and Digital Twins.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic consultancy for Data, Analytics and AI products to business and IT stakeholders Pharmaceutical Technology & Drug Development (PT&D) and Quality.
• Lead the development of technical products aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Data and AI solutions.
• Break down feature epics into technical tasks and manage dependencies.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and sustainable product delivery.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Conduct research to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Optimize resource allocation through data-driven decisions.
• Maintain high standards for in-house products and tools.

Essential Skills:

• Experience of delivering Digital products using Data, and AI technologies.
• Provide thought leadership and have hands on experience creating and executing strategy for Data and AI/GenAI Products.
• Strong foundation in Data and AI technologies i.e coming from technical background.
• Experience leading complex data and AI projects.
• Proficiency in the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Able to lead senior stakeholder engagement (business, 3rd party vendors and IT) relationships.

Desired:

• Master’s, M.B.A., or PhD in a relevant field
• Product/Project Management experience in Data, Analytics & AI solutions
• Previous involvement in a large multinational company, Pharmaceutical or similar environment.
• Background in Chemistry or Biopharmaceutical industry.
