Job Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Innovation

• Architect and implement state-of-the-art AI platform infrastructure, from conception to production deployment
• Drive technical decision-making for platform architecture, scalability, and operational excellence
• Establish best practices for platform development, testing, and deployment workflows
• Design and implement infrastructure for ML model training and serving at scale
• Lead the development of robust data management and versioning systems
• Pioneer innovative solutions for ML infrastructure optimization

Team & Project Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of senior platform engineers
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with ML engineers, researchers, and product teams
• Define technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives
• Champion system reliability, security, and compliance standards
• Guide career development and growth of team members

Infrastructure & Scale

• Partner with ML teams to design and optimize data pipelines for large-scale training
• Architect solutions for efficient real-time and batch inference systems
• Ensure robust monitoring and maintenance of production ML systems
• Drive improvements in platform performance, efficiency, and reliability

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with focus on platform/infrastructure development
• Proven track record of building large-scale distributed systems in production environments
• Strong background in cloud-native technologies and ML infrastructure

Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in designing and building scalable distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with multiple languages
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices
• Demonstrated expertise in building and optimizing large-scale data processing pipelines
• Strong background in ML infrastructure and deployment systems

Leadership & Communication

• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams
• Strong track record of driving technical decisions and innovation
• Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and technical communication
• Recognized expertise in platform engineering and distributed systems
