Job Description
Global Data Platforms Organization is focused on delivering differentiated data product offerings which provide tremendous value to our clients leveraging cutting-edge capabilities such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). At Visa, we are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Director AI/ML Platform Product Management, to join our team. As a global leader in payments technology, Visa has been a pioneer in leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies successfully in our products and services last few decades. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing and enhancing core AI/ML capabilities to power one of our key strategic pillars, Value added services portfolio of products.

This role will be a key contributor to the Global strategic roadmap specifically around creating a state-of-the-art AI platform by working with cross functional teams such as regional product, sales, consulting, operations, technology, risk, analytics. This position may require occasional travel to client sites and Visa locations. this role will report to Sr. Director, Head of AIML Platform Product Management
As an experienced product leader, the person will work closely with Technology, Data Science, Cross-functional Products and Regional teams to prioritize, solution, develop and implement key platform features and ultimately power key flagship Visa products.
Essential Functions:
Primary Responsibilities:
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 15 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at
least 10 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters,
MBA, JD, MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Strong understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts, with an
emphasis on AI models on batch and real-time environment.
• Strong experience in Data science, Deep learning models, Cloud computing
and experience with Big Data and broader AI/ML tools, platforms and
technologies
• Relevant experience with the AI/ML cloud stack and architecting large
enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with software development methodologies such as Agile and
experience working with Scrum teams and matrix organizations.
• Prior experience working within an agile product development environment.
• Advanced proficiency in the use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Project, and SharePoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
• 14 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at
least 12 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g. Masters,
MBA, JD, MD) or 7 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Modeling experience in card industry or financial service company using for
fraud, credit risk, payments is plus
• 7+ years of experience in developing and delivering Machine Learning and
Artificial Intelligence solutions at enterprise or organizational level to solve
customer or business problems.
• Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry
specifically, within new applications, Fraud Risk, Identity Risk, or Artificial
Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science.
• 10 years of experience in product management, with demonstrated ability to
launch and manage new product releases being part of a matrix organization
in a highly technical and evolving AI/ML space.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of machine learning or data
processing algorithms for risk and fraud applications.
• Experience in financial services and payments desired, but not required.
• Experience partnering with technologists using Agile or other expedited
design and development methodologies. Working knowledge of Agile tools
such as Confluence Wiki, Tableau, and JIRA is strongly preferred.

metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
• A proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding
timelines is also required.
• Strong problem solver, with exposure to and knowledge of industry standard
AI and ML technologies with expertise to drive technology related and
architecture discussions.
• High degree of competence in working independently with limited oversight
from manager on undefined and unique problems and extreme sense of
ownership.

Physical Requirements-
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
