Overview
At Microsoft, we’re crafting the infrastructure for some of the most powerful technology ever created to serve humanity. Embarking on an unparalleled project, we aim to construct the most advanced AI clusters known to date. The scale at which we operate introduces complex, novel challenges that demand innovative, out-of-the-box solutions. We need to rethink the way we build our network and the technology we use to support the traffic demands and scale we’re moving towards. We’re exploring advancements like all-optical switching and hollow-core fiber to enhance performance and efficiency in these clusters.
As a Principal Optical AI Network Developer, you’re expected to bridge the gap between hardware, software control, optics, and algorithms to build and support the world’s most demanding ai workloads. We seek passionate individuals eager to tackle these challenges head-on, contributing to the infrastructure that lays the groundwork for AI advancements that will benefit humanity in ways we are just beginning to imagine.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
