What you’ll be doing…

This is a senior level technical role in the company. This position will drive profitable growth and lead business innovation by applying cutting edge machine learning techniques and AI technology. It will independently lead data science projects that drive product personalization, marketing effectiveness, channel optimization, better customer experience, and operation efficiency. You will provide guidance to teams of talented data scientists and machine learning engineers in developing and delivering the next generation AI/ML solutions to the business. You will work closely with a team of talented data scientists, Big Data engineers, and software developers and play a key role in developing and delivering the next generation AI/ML solutions to the business.

You’ll create machine learning and deep learning models to predict customer behavior and intent to support marketing campaigns for customer retention, prospect acquisition and revenue growth. You’ll then present the results to various business partners such as marketing, finance, and our customer relationship management group.

With an eye towards improving performance and predictability, you like the science of analytics. Developing resolutions to complex problems, using your sharp judgment to develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria enables you to deliver solutions that make a big impact. You’re able to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, and you take pride in your ability to share your considerable knowledge with your peers.

The key responsibilities include:

• Independently leading and completing AI projects and designing, developing, and delivering innovative technical solutions to solve problems and improve business outcomes from E2E
• Being able to complete the design and development of machine learning/deep learning models and ensure best performance
• Working closely with machine learning engineers to deploy models in production both in real time and in batch process and systematically track model performance
• Partnering with key business stakeholders in discussion on business strategies and opportunities
• Being a subject matter expert on deep learning/machine learning and predictive modeling
• Drive technical innovation through active research and applications of new theories, techniques, and technologies
• Mentoring and coaching junior data scientists in their career development and technical knowledge and skills

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in practicing machine learning, deep learning, and data science in business; Solid foundational quantitative knowledge and skills; extensive training in math, statistics, computer science, data science, physical science, engineering, or other related fields;
• 5+ years of experience in developing models and algorithms independently, writing your own code, developing strategy for algorithmic experimentation, and deploying the model in production.
• Knowledge of AI/ML models, frameworks(Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc.) and libraries/packages/APIs (e.g., Scikit).
• Experience in data management and data analysis skills. Strong expertise in SQL skills.
• Hands-on computing/programming skills; proficient in Python, Pyspark, and Linux Shell script
• A Master or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field is preferred;
• 3+ years of experience in scaling AI in areas like personalization, Deep learning, NLP, computer vision, Generative AI, etc.
• Ability to explain both the code and the underlying math used in algorithms/models.
• Experience in both batch and streaming models in production.
• Experience in Hadoop, GCP, AWS or other distributed compute services.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
