[PERM] Generative AI – Project Manager Full-time

Job Description

Lead projects and deliver tools enabling clients to take advantage of the newest in generative AI.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for AI web application development projects, optimizing user experience through data processing and post-processing to enhance quality, reliability, and value.
• Manage all phases of projects from planning and consulting to design, development, testing, implementation, and operations management, with the relevant development teams in Japan or offshore.
• Oversee quality, schedule, cost management, and delivery team leadership for Artificial Intelligence web application development projects. Note that depending on project availability, sometimes you would get assigned to projects outside of the AI space as well.
• Participate in proposal activities and handle upstream processes like requirements definition and basic design.
• Engage in envisioning and implementing enterprise business applications using .NET and Microsoft products, focusing on customization and problem-solving through DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Location may be Osaka, Japan

Required skills

• 7+ years of client-facing experience in Japan.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience leading all phases of system development lifecycle.
• Experience in SIer or consulting firms.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum Agile.
• Experience leading medium to large-scale projects in global environments.
• Japanese business level or above, English intermediate level or above (both written and spoken).

• **Some client travel within Japan will be required.

Preferred skills

• PMP certification.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft technologies.
