The work:

• As a Technology Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering technology architecture for a platform, product, or engagement. Your typical day will involve defining solutions to meet performance, capability, and scalability needs.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the technology, providing expert insights and guidance to the team.
• Take responsibility for key technical decisions, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and integrate solutions seamlessly.
• Lead the project lifecycle from conception to deployment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive business solutions.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields.
• Professional & Technical Skills:

Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Azure Machine Learning

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks), Python (Programming Language)
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly as they relate to Azure services and architecture.
• Experience in designing scalable and reliable technology solutions in Azure.
• Experience in deploying models/solutions as web services using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Functions.
• Proficiency in data modeling and analysis.
• Azure DevOps for managing the lifecycle of models/solutions, including CI/CD pipelines.

Certifications (at least 1):

• DP-100 Azure Data Scientist Associate
• DP-203 Azure Data Engineer Associate
• AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect
• AI-102 Azure AI Engineer Associate

Summary:
As a Technology Architect, you will be responsible for reviewing and integrating all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements. You will also provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security. Your typical day will involve working with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and Microsoft Azure App Service to design and implement technical architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Databricks, and other relevant Azure services.
Lead the AI project lifecycle from conception to deployment, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, validation, and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including data scientists, engineers, product managers) to understand business needs and integrate AI solutions seamlessly.
Stay current with the latest Azure AI developments and trends, continuously exploring new tools and technologies to improve our solutions.
Ensure the scalability, efficiency, and security of AI systems in line with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI/ML projects, with a focus on using Azure technologies.
Strong understanding of Azure AI services, cloud architecture, and Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
Experience in designing and implementing machine learning models and data pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications in Azure AI Engineer, Azure Data Scientist, or Azure Solutions Architect.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Familiarity with AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
Previous experience in a consultancy or client-facing role.
Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required
