TEAM

The Enterprise AI Team’s mission is to give Toyota a platform for AI growth. The team works to simplify training, inference, MLops and other aspects of AI development. This is used internally to build safety, convenience and autonomy for the Toyota vehicles.

As part of Enterprise AI, the Portal team will develop and maintain the web based user interface (UI) for our platform and customers within Woven by Toyota and Toyota Group. The web UI is a key component of our platform providing users an easy way to interact with the different features provided by Enterprise AI.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As the team lead of the Enterprise AI Portal team, you will expand the team’s capabilities. You will have a solid technical and leadership background to build production teams and software. You have knowledge of frontend best practices and have built and managed a team before.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hire and lead engineers, promoting a collaborative and innovative environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliverables
• Work closely with with product management and other stakeholders to build and deliver Enterprise AI’s web portal
• Work with internal and external UX design teams

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 1 years in a leadership role and frontend development
• Experience with Typescript, React, UI testing tools (ex. Cypress), APIs (usage and development)
• Experience with source control (GitHub, GitLab) development tools, including Git, continuous integration, and code review
• Business level English or higher

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience working with interface design software like Figma
• Experience with full stack web development (ex. databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB and/or Node development)
• Japanese language skills
