What you will do

• Guide team of data engineers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high performance data analytics solutions in GCP
• Implement end-to-end data analytics solutions (from data ingestion through visualization) for large-scale, complex client environments.
• Analyze and understand Big Data and analytical technologies on GCP and provide leadership to clients and team members with defining their architecture components for data and analytics.
• Work with implementation teams from concept to operations, providing deep technical domain expertise for successfully deploying large scale data solutions in the enterprise, using modern data/analytics technologies on premise and cloud.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and implement AI-driven solutions for property and casualty insurance processes.

What you bring to the role

• Minimum 7 years of designing, building and operationalizing large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of GCP data and analytics services and Python.
• Minimum 2 years of designing and implementing data engineering, ingestion and curation functions on GCP cloud using GCP native or any other cloud technologies.
• Solid understanding of property and casualty insurance domain, with the ability to apply technical solutions to industry-specific challenges.
• Proficiency in NLP and familiarity with GCP are highly desirable, enhancing the teams’ capability to deliver powerful solutions.
• Knowledge on Google services to build data pipelines and leverage intelligence.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in our client’s office in Mississauga, ON.
