Job Summary

As an Expert Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust, scalable data architectures. You will lead the technical direction for data solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end data architecture solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Implement data integration strategies, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.

• Expertise in AWS cloud services, including Redshift, S3, Lambda, and other relevant AWS tools.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL, Python programming, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

• Experience in data modeling, data governance, and data security best practices.

• Hands-on experience in all aspects of data architecture and management.

• Experience in UI development with exposure to tools like Lotus and Appsmith is a plus.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and other relevant front-end technologies is a plus.

• Machine learning experience is a great add-on.

• Stay current with emerging data technologies and industry trends.

Technical Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance and support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and develop comprehensive data solutions.

• Establish and enforce data architecture standards, policies, and procedures.

• Drive the adoption of best practices in data management and analytics.

• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven 10+ years’ experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful data projects.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire technical teams.

Primary Skills:

• Deep understanding of SQL, AWS concepts and services, particularly Redshift.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL database management and optimization.

• Strong programming skills in Python.

• Hands-on experience with data integration, ETL processes, and big data technologies.

• Machine learning experience is a plus.
