Machine Learning Engineer – Lisbon

Capgemini Portugal is currently looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join one of the world’s most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.

To leverage Lisbon’s tech spirit and infuse it into its brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our Client is looking to reinforce its technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated in the core technology workforce. They look forward to welcoming their TCC employees and onboarding them on an exciting adventure managing modern solutions and innovative technologies through global, scaled platforms to create business value with pace and agility.

Responsibilities

Develop components of the analytics and machine learning platform, including: infrastructure modules, reusable components for AI/Analytics applications or architecture templates.

Industrialize, maintain and improve AI and analytics solutions in Google Cloud Platform.

Manage the infrastructure with special focus on reliance, security and scalability.

Partner with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, Infrastructure & Data Engineers for the project delivery.

Academic Background

Graduate in Master program in Engineering, Data Science, or related fields or equivalent professional experience

Skills & Experience

Proficient in Python programming & SQL (5 years or more)

Practical experience in MLOPs (3-5 years or more).

Professional experience in Google Cloud Platform (2 years +).

Practical experience with infrastructure as a code, ideally Terraform (1 years+).

Knowledge of Data Engineering principles.

Knowledge of REST API and microservices.

Experience in Vertex AI and DBT is a plus.

English is a must.
