Job Description

In the Continental AM Budapest Artificial Intelligence Development Center, we are creating the next generation of software solutions to power safety-critical systems and enable autonomous driving features in new vehicles around the globe. We are working towards Vision Zero, a goal to eliminate thousands of fatal accidents happening every day on the world’s roads. Our aim is to develop cutting edge techniques that sense and understand the vehicle environment.

Your Future Team

You will join to the Data and Platform team within xOps Services by providing high performance compute and storage capacity to AI developer teams globally.

Your Tasks

Our team is responsible for providing the tools and knowledge to accelerate AI development and related activities.

Your tasks are therefore:

• Understanding business requirements and use cases of the user groups
• Develop and establish MLOps solutions on GPU cluster infrastructure
• Support ML engineers in integrating and mastering the provided tools, building well-structured ML pipelines, ensuring traceability and transitioning from research to production
• Be a front runner of new processes among technical stakeholders, drive communication and raise awareness of management via quantifiable metrics
• Educate and guide product teams to achieve higher MLOps maturity, help them make fact-based technological decisions (e.g., via improved automation, more efficient code)
• Continuously document the above technological decisions and best practices
• Investigate and stay up to date with industry standards concerning ML infrastructure, frameworks, and tools.

Qualifications

This job fits you if you have

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, machine learning or related area
• 3+ years of experience in Python software development within ML tooling or operations
• Demonstrated expertise in building production-ready ML pipelines using PyTorch or TensorFlow and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in experiment tracking tools (e.g., Weights & Biases, MLflow)
• Solid understanding of data monitoring and model performance evaluation
• Excellent communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and translating complex AI concepts into business strategies to be communicated to different stakeholders at different levels of seniority and skills
• Experience in working with Linux, Docker
• Good command of English language.

In addition, it would be beneficial to have

• Experience with Kubernetes as a user
• Experience with ELK stack and SQL queries
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
