Our team, CapCut, is a fast growing platform with many recommendation scenarios. For professional users, we help users complete their creations more quickly by recommending various basic creation elements accordingly, including music, effects, filters, transitions, and even AI capabilities. In the meantime, we inspire users to create by distributing UGC videos and providing easy-to-use creation tools, which lowers the barrier for creation; We are a group of applied machine learning engineers and data scientists that focus on recommendations. We are developing innovative algorithms and techniques to improve user engagement, satisfaction, and particular creation efficiency. We are interested and excited in applying large scale machine learning to solve various real-world problems in recommendation system.

What You Will Do
– Participate in building large-scale recommendation algorithms and systems.
– Design strategies to optimize the experience of the supply side and the ecosystem of the platform
– Design, develop, evaluate and iterate on predictive models for candidate generation and ranking(eg. Click Through Rate and Conversion Rate prediction) , including, but not limited to building real-time data pipelines, feature engineering, model optimization and innovation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
– Strong coding skills with a solid foundation in data structure and algorithms. At least 2 years of relevant experience.
– Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in machine learning.
– Familiarity with one or more areas in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or data mining.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Excellent problem analysis and solving skills, with passion for tackling challenging problems.
– Strong practical ability, papers published in relevant competitions and top academic conferences (such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.) are preferred.
