Machine Learning Engineer, Camera Algorithms Full-time

Summary
Camera Algorithm team at Apple is dedicated to advancing the state-of-the-art in camera technologies and building best image/video experience in the world.
We are seeking machine learning algorithm engineers who are passionate for excellent image and video quality and camera applications to enrich people’s life. In this role, you will be working on core camera technologies, researching and developing computer vision and machine learning solutions for all cameras in Apple products. You will work closely with world-class experts in hardware and software teams and be the source of ideas to set directions for next era.

Key Qualifications
Expert knowledge of computer vision and deep learning, including algorithms and tools
Solid research and development experience in fields related to camera/ISP algorithms; Conventional and generative image/video enhancements, such as de-noising, de-blur, de-hazing etc.
Strong skills in Python, PyTorch and C/C++
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English.
Understanding camera sensor, imaging process, digital image signal processing would be a bonus.
Experience with real-time system, network compression, network optimization, transfer learning, ML data acquisition and management would be a bonus.

Description
As a machine learning engineer in the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing novel machine learning algorithms and techniques, designing and managing data curation, optimizing solution pipeline, and delivering to products with collaboration across global teams in fast production iterations.

Education & Experience
MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent fields (Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mathematics, etc).
