We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join the Allegro Ads team, working on Machine Learning projects for the Allegro advertising system. The ideal candidate should possess a wide engineering knowledge (from data/feature engineering, through online model serving to deployment and monitoring methods) as well as a strong competency in using Machine Learning algorithms. As a Machine Learning Engineer you will support Data Scientists in developing Machine Learning models and ensure seamless deployment of models to production, maintaining high availability and performance.

Technologies you’ll encounter on the job are (among others): Python, GCP (Big Query, Composer, Vertex AI, Dataproc, Looker Studio), PySpark, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow.

What will your work consist of?

• Designing, developing, optimizing and maintenance of data and Machine Learning training pipelines
• Collaborating with our Data Scientists as well as with Software Engineers, Product and Data teams across the model lifecycle
• Production-running model management, monitoring and tuning

We are looking for people who:

• Have a bachelor or master’s in machine learning, mathematics, computer science, statistics or related fields
• Have proficiency in Python
• Know ML models lifecycle
• Have a practical experience in ML-based solutions development
• Have a knowledge of ML algorithms and common libraries used to deal with models
• Have prior experience in running large-scale computation on cloud platform (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• Have a practical experience in Python microservices and libraries development as well as maintenance
• Can independently make decisions within a designated scope and take full responsibility for tasks taken, throughout their entire lifecycle: from engineering requirements and implementation to deployment and maintenance
• Have an advanced knowledge of SQL
• Know English at a minimum level of B2
