Asthe Lead Data Scientist at Siemens Advanta, you will play a pivotal role indriving data-driven decision-making and leading the development andimplementation of advanced analytical models. You will work closely withcross-functional teams to identify business challenges, design data-drivensolutions, and provide actionable insights to optimize processes and driveinnovation.

You’llmake a difference by:

• Lead and manage a teamof data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
• Collaborate withstakeholders to understand business objectives and develop data sciencestrategies aligned with those objectives.
• Design, develop, andimplement advanced machine learning and statistical models to solve complexbusiness problems.
• Conduct exploratorydata analysis, data cleansing, and feature engineering to prepare datasets foranalysis.
• Explore and utilizevarious data mining and machine learning techniques to extract valuableinsights and patterns from large datasets.
• Develop predictive/prescriptivemodels, algorithms, and prototypes to support business.
• Should have workingknowledge of handling IOT and IIOT data and handling traditional use cases likeanomaly detection for a multi-sensor system.
• Should have hands-onexperience in Forecasting using traditional ML and Deep Networks
• Perform statisticalanalysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness ofmodels and algorithms.
• Communicate findingsand insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations,and data visualizations.
• Should understand CI/CDprocesses in product deployment and used it in delivery.
• Should have an understandingof the Dockerization, REST APIs
• Working knowledge on softwaredevelopment processes.
• Stay up to date withthe latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AItechnologies and identify opportunities to apply them to improve businessoutcomes.

You’llwin us over by

• 8+ years of experiencein data science and/or data analysis with a proven track record of developingML models and algorithms.
• A master’s or Ph.D.degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Strong programmingskills in languages such as Python, R, or C++.
• Exposure to the industrialengineering domain is preferred.
• Knowledge of big datatechnologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive is a plus.
• Proficient in the useof data science tools
• Excellentanalytical/statistical skills.
• Proactive and willingto learn new technologies.
• Excellent verbal,written and presentation skills.
