Project description

Working on GPU support for OpenAI/Triton – a language and compiler for writing highly efficient custom Deep-Learning primitives. Work with the open-source community to analyze, develop, test, and deploy performance improvements for neural networks implemented with Triton on GPUs with ROCm.

Technologies used: Python, C/C++, Docker, Linux, PyTorch, Triton, ROCm, HIP, AMD ROCm

Responsibilities

Develop, support and optimize OpenAI/Triton project for GPU. Create, document, and execute unit/component/functional tests.

Skills

Must have

Experience developing C/C++ and Python applications

Knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)

Knowledge in ML/NN

Software Version Control (Git)

Basic understanding of PyTorch is a plus. Knowledge of and experience with a state-of-the-art compiler stack such as LLVM and MLIR is highly desired. Knowledge of ROCm. Experience in CMake, make/ninja build system. GEMM performance fundamentals.

Experience in performance analysis

Knowledge of GPU computing (HIP or CUDA or OpenCL)
