Jr AI Engineer Full-time

Job Description

The Global AI Team is seeking a Jr. AI Engineer to join our fast-paced, high-energy team responsible for delivering bleeding edge solutions leveraging Analytics and AI.

The focus of this role would be to apply industry standard practices and deliver a quality software product in an agile manner. One must be passionate about engineering the best solution possible for the given problem leveraging the latest techniques and innovation.

Major Responsibilities

• Work with senior members of the team and participate in discussions on understanding business requirements.
• Execute individual tasks on assigned to you and ensure progress on a regular basis.
• Develop high quality code that meets business objectives, quality standards and secure web development guidelines.
• Work with the business and technology team members to identify opportunities for improvement, and to validate, refine and prioritize user stories.
• Provide regular progress updates on tasks by participating in daily-standups .
• React to shifting priorities without compromising deadlines and momentum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field.
• 0-3 Years of experience in the field of AI/Software engineering with knowledge of frontend scripting using technologies such as Angular and back-end scripting using either NodeJS, Python or Java.
• Good understanding of fundamental concepts of Machine Learning(training and testing models given a dataset and being able to present the model results to stakeholders), NLP (embedding techniques, topic modeling etc.)
• Building software on top of major container technology (Kubernetes, Docker etc.) is a bonus.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools and Cloud Deployment.
• Experience in working with NoSQL Databases like MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB is preferred.
• Experience in leveraging Azure Cloud Services like Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Cosmos DB, etc. is a bonus.
