Your role and responsibilities

Looking for a taste of working life in an international, future-focused corporate group? Then join us as an intern (m/f/d) and familiarise yourself with a suitable department for 3 to 6 months. You will be involved in large-scale projects and perform a defined set of duties independently. Use your internship to build a network and become familiar with our company. The following tasks and responsibilities will be part of your role: • You are interested in the domain of data analytics and machine learning. • You will work on data analytics and physics-informed machine learning for industrial applications. • You will develop mainly python packages for industrial use cases. • Close collaboration with our scientists and engineers. You will design, analyze, and test advanced time series analysis and physics informed deep learning algorithms. • We expect that you show above-average motivation to develop demonstrators and software prototypes and proactiveness to come up with new concepts and ideas on how to overcome possible challenges.

Qualifications for the role

• Currently enrolled in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or similar field
• Strong knowledge of Python, shell scripting, and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, Pandas)
• Proficient in Git, with familiarity in Java/JavaScript and Azure (nice to have)
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink (nice to have)
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
